Changes in Life

Because people like pictures!
Good day, everybody! I hope your week went well! I know mine has gone pretty awesome, but unfortunately it’s the type of awesome that I really can’t write about on here, so we’ll just suffice to say that it was a good awesome, and an awesome that is going to require some change of priorities.
First, I’m not going to have as much time to write any more. I’m still going to have spare time at home, at least until the family comes back from California, but my free time at the old workplace is becoming extinct. This does not bother me, however, as I’d rather earn my paycheck than spend time writing for personal projects.
Yeah, I know, I’m a bit weird like that.
In addition, I’m no longer working in the morning, but after a training period, I’ll be working in the evenings. Sadly, this means that my lunch time walks around the lake might be nearing an end. However, it DOES mean that I’ll be able to hit the fitness center with the evening crew after work, so I’ll be active, and hopefully be a bit more social as well.
Plus, this position pays more as well. This means that, on my time off, I might be able to attend things that I have not won tickets for, but I have, in fact, actually PAYED to attend! I’m just not going to be able to hit events on a Friday night, or one weekend a month.
And, as an added bonus, I’m ending up with an iPhone and a company provided laptop. I was SO tempted to go for the Samsung Galaxy S3, but since I have an Android phone, and part of my new position includes familiarity with iOS, then I figured it might be wise to get one.
So in short, it looks like I’ve got a new routine to work out, and I’m going to be relying a lot on scheduling posts.
Bear with me, folks.
Let’s see where this road leads.
Tony
